Your virtual colleagues
Create your own colleagues, choose their profile, archive or delete them.
Colleagues are personal: each person creates their own, and nobody else sees them, administrators included. Create one with the + next to an office in the side list. You need at least one profile granted by an administrator: without one, the side list and the home page say whom to ask.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | How the colleague presents itself, e.g. "Max" |
| Role | Optional: the colleague's trade, e.g. Linux sysadmin or SQL Server DBA. What it may do is set by the profile |
| Profile | One of the profiles an administrator granted you: the model, and how it may run commands. With only one, it is already chosen |
| Instructions | Optional, and you can add them later: responsibilities, tone, what to check first and what never to do |
The colleague knows the company, the office, its role, your name and language and your instructions, and answers in your language. Where it can run commands it also knows how, or why it cannot and what you can change. Open its settings from the icon on its row in the side list.
If an administrator takes away the profile a colleague uses, it waits for you to choose another one. Archiving a colleague hides it and keeps its conversations. Deleting it removes its conversations for good and keeps only its name, so the wiki still says who wrote what.
