Orlok

Language and themes

The languages Orlok speaks, the language colleagues answer in, and the ten colour themes.

Language

Orlok's interface is available in English and Italian. Choose the language from the selector in the header: Orlok remembers it in your profile, on every device.

An administrator picks the language of each person when inviting them, so the invitation email and the first sign-in are already in that language.

The language also decides:

  • the emails and notifications Orlok sends you;
  • the language colleagues fall back on. A colleague answers in the language you write in; only when that is unclear does it use the language of your profile. In languages that mark gender, it chooses wording that does not assume yours.

The office wiki has no interface language: colleagues write in the language of the pages already there. Search understands IT terms in Italian and English, and each office can add its own synonyms. See Links and search.

Themes

Choose a theme from the selector in the header. Orlok remembers it in your profile.

Light Dark
Catppuccin Latte Catppuccin Mocha
Rosé Pine Dawn Tokyo Night
Tokyo Night Light Nord
Gruvbox
Everforest
Kanagawa
Matte Black

Follow system, the default, uses Catppuccin Latte when your device is in light mode and Catppuccin Mocha in dark mode, and switches with it.

The theme is applied before the page is drawn, so it never flashes from light to dark when you open Orlok. Code in conversations and in the wiki is highlighted in the colours of the theme you chose.
