The office wiki
The shared memory of an office: who reads it, who writes it, what it is for.
Every office has a wiki at Wiki: the memory its colleagues share. Everyone in the office can read it; administrators and office managers can create, edit, delete and restore pages. Colleagues also update it on their own as they learn, whoever they work for. Every change, by a person or a colleague, is a revision with its author, and the history shows which colleague wrote it and for whom. All changes also go to the office log.
If two people edit the same page at once, the second is told that the page was changed by someone else in the meantime, instead of overwriting it.
Purpose and overview
Office managers and administrators write the purpose of the wiki: what it is for, for example "IT support for the company: systems, procedures, suppliers and recurring problems". Colleagues read it to decide what is worth keeping. They also keep an overview page of the office up to date as they file documents.
